Denver, CO — Oct. 13, 2025 — Bonfils-Stanton Foundation has launched a national search for its next CEO following the announcement that current President and CEO Gary Steuer will conclude his tenure in early 2026 after twelve years of service.

The Foundation’s Board of Trustees has engaged Campbell.HR, a national executive search firm specializing in mission-driven leadership, to partner on the search. The process will be led by Board Member Jesse King, who is chairing the search committee on behalf of the Board.

“We’re seeking a leader who can build on Bonfils-Stanton Foundation’s strong legacy while continuing to push forward with creativity, inclusion, and collaboration,” said Jesse King. “This is an exciting moment to shape the next chapter of the Foundation’s impact in Denver’s arts and culture community.”

The search will emphasize candidates with demonstrated experience in arts and culture, philanthropy, and equity-focused leadership. The Board expects to complete the process in 2025 to allow for a seamless transition of leadership in early 2026.
